Have you guys heard about all these deaths recently related to the one drug, Molly?
No. What are you talking about?
All these kids died from taking a form of ecstasy called Molly.
Isn’t that the same things as MDMA? Or, is that another designer drug. I can’t keep up with them all.
I think so but I’m not really sure….
To give you the 411, both Molly and ecstasy are forms of the drug MDMA. However, Ecstasy is a pill while Molly is the powdered form of MDMA, often taken in a capsule, falsely making many people think it is the “purer” and more potent form.
They are called designer drugs because they are designed in a lab (they are certainly anything but fashionable!). Here, you will learn about ecstasy other designer drugs and cocaine as all of these drugs tend to show up on the “party” scene even though they are nothing to celebrate.
