I heard today in health class that 1 out of five deaths in the United States is a result of smoking and over 400,000 Americans die each year from smoking.

That’s not all Taylor, what teens really need to know it that more than 90% of adult smokers reported that they started smoking in their teens.

Wow. Those are some crazy statistics. Especially the one about 90% of smokers starting in their teens. I bet they never thought they were going to die from it or that they wouldn’t be able to quit.
Well luckily now there’s vaping so that teens won’t get hooked.
Whoa, wait a minute Taylor. That’s just not true. Vaping may not have some of the known harmful effects but vaping does put you at risk for addiction.
Really, I didn’t know that.
I actually didn’t either. You hear so many different things these days, I’m not sure what is true and what isn’t.
Just like Taylor and Harrison, a lot of teens don’t know how vaping is different than smoking AND they don’t fully understand the risks of both.
