Some of them constantly say they hate themselves, and joke about suicide, because the this is now technically socially acceptable, but I still worry for them, so I try to always make myself available, and try to be, I don’t know what other way to put this, a “beacon” for them. And I hoped I’ve made an impact.

My uncle was an alcoholic and he hated his life. Ever since he began to drink, he wanted to stop. When he killed himself, I couldn’t stop crying and I felt terribly guilty for not being there for him when he needed me. I wish I could bring him back.
