A main part of my relationship would be to build trust and when my partner breaks that trust I will keep my composure and respectfully end the relationship. You can’t have a relationship if you don’t trust your partner, and as a result I would end it. I would end it by saying “Since you cheated on me i can’t trust you anymore so I think we should end it”.

It is not worth staying with someone who would cheat on you and break your trust. That trust is very hard to build up again, and the person who cheated is no longer worthy of it. If your significant other cannot control themselves then they get to be alone.
